When I first came to the Mekong Delta, I discovered a very special variety of banana that I had never seen before – the Red Banana. Unlike ordinary bananas, its skin turns deep red as it ripens, while the fruit inside is naturally sweet, creamy, and full of tropical flavor. It quickly became one of my favorite fruits on the farm.
Today, these beautiful banana plants grow around the lodge and remind us that nature always has something unique to offer. Inspired by this rare tropical fruit, we named our largest bungalow Red Banana Bungalow.
Designed with natural bamboo, wooden furniture, and traditional thatched roofing, the bungalow combines rustic countryside charm with modern comfort. Large windows welcome natural light, while the spacious private terrace overlooks our tropical gardens, creating the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or relax after exploring the Mekong Delta.
